Our Most Valuable Resource - Our Volunteers
More than 600 volunteers throughout Northeastern California support our mission, working in wish granting, special events, community relations, corporate fund raising, public speaking and many other critical areas. Volunteers work in their local communities by touching the lives of individual Northeastern California children. Experienced volunteers and professional staff provide training and support for newcomers.
What You Can Do
Whatever role you choose as a Make-A-Wish Foundation of Sacramento and
Northeastern California volunteer, the rewards are immeasurable. To touch
the life of a special child, to see the wonder in her eyes, to hear his
laughter, to know that the parents and siblings have shared a special
unforgettable moment, to help create the memory of a lifetime - these
are the rewards. Whether you choose to work with our children or behind
the scenes making the magic possible, you will know you have been at the
center of a dream come true.
