Volunteering: Ways to Volunteer

We have many ways to volunteer with Make-A-Wish! Here are just some highlights of what to expect. For more information, please participate in a volunteer orientation where you can get more details.

Office Volunteers: Volunteers can help with office work on a consistent basis or as needed when big projects come in.

Wish Volunteers: These volunteers visit with our wish children to find out what their wish is and then return to deliver the wish details and have a party.

Next training: Please see our home page for information about date and location of next wish volunteer training.

Scrapbooking Volunteers: After a wish is complete, we encourage our wish children to send in pictures. We then develop them and send them to our scrapbook volunteers who donate their time and materials to put beautiful scrapbooks together.

Event Volunteers: Event volunteers help with various duties depending on the event. It can be set up, clean up or helping with some part of the event. Events include the Winter Wine and Food Fest, KNCI Week of Wishes Radiothon, Twilight Walk for Wishes and various community events done on our behalf.
